This week thousands of OneMeal food packs made their way from shipping container to truck….truck to dug-out boat….and boat to the village as our friends in Nicaragua delivered desperately needed food to our micro-feeding centers all along the Rio Coco. These remote village communities are only accessible by small boats and have been virtually cut off from the outside world during COVID shut-downs. These meals will literally mean the difference between life and death to many children and families along the river. As they receive life-sustaining food, they are also receiving life-giving encouragement from the pastors and workers sharing the love and hope of Christ in their midst.
“If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.”
