Friendship can be mighty influential.

Our friend Chad’s journey with KATW began in 2020 when he felt compelled to pack a pallet of meals – 14,256 to be exact!  Shortly after, he was compelled to do more and, despite initial uncertainties about funding, stepped out in faith!  Over the years, God has blessed Chad, his family, and his business, enabling him to pack a total of 242,352 meals to date. Now, Chad and his wife support the Santa Rosa Hope Zone in Ecuador.

Excited by God’s work in his life, Chad shared his experiences with his best friend, Justin. Chad shared not only what he was doing but also his enthusiasm for KATW’s mission, explaining how meal packing and hope zones make a big difference for children and communities.

Inspired by Chad’s journey and testimony, Justin caught the compassionate vision!  He, his wife and 2 sons started participating in meal packing events, too.  In 2022, they decided to support their own Hope Zone in Ecuador, focusing on sharing the Gospel, strengthening families, and fostering relationships with the Lord. They have supported the Las Pinas Hope Zone in Ecuador for three years.

In a culmination of their joy, both families built playgrounds in their respective Hope Zones this past June, bringing double the blessing to the children in these communities. We are incredibly thankful for Chad’s desire to not only “GO! Do Good!” but also to inspire others to do the same!
