When Little Tikes Commercial partnered with Kids Around the World and Over Flowing Hands to build a playground in Uganda, it was more than just a project—it was a gift of hope and joy for children. On the day of the dedication, the excitement was palpable. As the playground opened, the children’s eyes lit up with wonder, and laughter filled the air.

For a community burdened with the stress and uncertainty of life in a refugee camp, this playground became a sanctuary. Time spent here creates joyful moments, away from constant pressure of survival, where kids can simply be kids. The slides and climbing structures became symbols of freedom, offering a break from the hardships of daily life.

Community, volunteers, and families gathered to watch and before long many joined in the fun – sliding and playing side by side with the children! The impact of this new space is profound, as the playground provides a source of light and happiness for children who have faced so much adversity.
