When we created a blank space to GO! GIVE _____ FREELY, something powerful happened. A group of big-hearted leaders from Legacy Church in Albuquerque, NM stepped into that space—and into the lives of children and communities in the Dominican Republic.

Legacy’s Men’s Ministry boldly answered the call, sharing God’s transforming hope through FOOD, PLAY, and STORY. They gave freely—of their time, energy, prayers, finances, strength, and love—and in the process, they were just as transformed as those they served.
From passing out hot meals, Bibles, and over 1,200 soccer shorts to sharing Scripture and prayer with the Haitian community, they became the hands and feet of Christ in real, tangible ways. One unforgettable moment? Serving a special meal to over 200 people, gathered in fellowship and gratitude.

At San Rafael Elementary, they built a playground, fixed picnic tables, and went a step further—personally funding and repainting the school’s basketball court, turning a worn-out space into a vibrant place for kids to play again.

Their passion to Give Freely didn’t stop there. Alongside our local DR team, they helped install a roof on a 40-ft container—originally purchased and painted by Legacy last year. That same container once held 270,000 meals. Now, it’s being repurposed to serve three rural Haitian communities with ongoing FOOD, PLAY and STORY.

The ripple effect of their generosity—befitting for a church named Legacy—continues to grow, bringing physical nourishment, spiritual encouragement, and even reconciliation between Dominican and Haitian neighbors.
