As you may have heard on the news, the country of Ecuador suffered a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake on Saturday. Several hundred fatalities have been reported along with thousands of injuries.

We are thankful that Kids Around the World staff living and working in Ecuador are safe along with their families. Steve Nine and his family live in Portoviejo, one of the communities hardest hit by the earthquake. They have reported significant damage including large building collapses in their neighborhood. Steve is returning from stateside meetings to be with his wife and children – who have been helping recover bodies and provide prayer and support for the wounded.

Kids Around the World has established an Ecuador Relief Fund to support local relief efforts and provide for the emergency needs of affected staff and their families.

Your generous support is critical at this time.

Above all, thank you for your prayers!

Sincerely,
Jim Rosene Signature
