Empowering a generation to live a hope-filled, Christ-centered life!

At the heart of our mission is the desire to see kids’ lives transformed by God’s love and a relationship with Him. Through Generation Hope, we are creating environments where this is happening. Partnering with the local church or community, we are establishing environments called “Hope Zones” in impoverished and under-reached communities around the globe. In these Hope Zones, kids experience the love and Good News of Jesus through Food, Play & Story.

How it Works

We start by planting a StoryClub alongside a local church or community.

Each week, the kids gather in StoryClubs to learn and grow in the Word of God in a fun, Spirit-filled way. StoryClubs are led by local leaders; passionate about serving kids, and trained to teach the Word in ways that kids learn best.

As the StoryClubs grow and start to take root, we help to meet physical, social & emotional needs through Food and Play.

Children receive nutritious daily meals, packed with love by our volunteers in the US.

Next we provide the gift of play to the community. Partners and volunteers like you help to provide a playground for the kids and their community, creating a space where kids and families gather and grow in community and in the Lord.

These environments, where kids are ministered to through Food, Play and Story become what we call Hope Zones.

Kids in our HopeZones are growing stronger spiritually, physically and socially, and are bringing their friends and families to experience God’s love with them too. The impact of God’s love spreads – strengthening more kids, families and the entire community.

Where Are the Hope Zones?

Along the coastal communities of Ecuador there is a rapidly growing movement of the Gospel through Generation Hope. Our Ecuadorian staff is launching new HopeZones nearly every month, as new leaders and communities grow a passion for reaching the kids and families around them with God’s love.

Spearheaded by Pastor Moses, our Ugandan GenHope Director, thousands of kids in the refugee settlements of Northern Uganda are experiencing the love and Good News of Jesus through our GenHope movement as the eat, play, and learn the Word of God together.

Our GenHope team in the DR has been raising up leaders and planting StoryClubs in communities throughout the country for several years. The Gospel has taken root in many communities and are being launched as full HopeZones, using the Food.Play.Story. approach to bring sustaining hope to kids and families across the island.

This movement doesn’t happen without people like YOU!

Generation Hope is a community to community model, connecting groups in the US with communities around the world to serve and grow together. Friends in the US help their Hope Zones grow by being a part of the Food. Play. Story. approach.

As a partner in GenHope, your group can come together to pack meals for the kids in a Hope Zone community as you host a fun and meaningful service event in your own community.

Next you can provide a playground for the community. Building a playground in a Hope Zone provides a safe space for kids and families to gather and have fun as they build relationships together.

Lastly you can ensure that the kids continue to learn and grow in faith in their weekly StoryClub. Your partnership helps support our StoryClubs and their passionate leaders.

As a Hope Zone Partner, you’ll get to know and grow together with the kids and families in your community. Your team can visit your Hope Zone, roll up your sleeves and build a playground, help distribute the meals you’ve provided, visit with families in their homes, and take part in the StoryClub to get to know the kids you serve.

Partners like you are at the very heart of helping the Generation Hope movement multiply.

Since launching in 2020, impact is being made!
