Hand of Hope, the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries is honored to partner with KATW through the KIDStory program. We have collaborated to train our leaders and implement the KIDStory Curriculum throughout our Asia Children’s Feeding Programs. The children are enjoying the interactive ways of learning Bible stories and the creative activities which brings a joyful, learning environment. Our teachers also like the simple 5 step process. Ultimately, children are learning more about Jesus through the KIDStory curriculum and for that we are so thankful for Kids Around the World. Through our incredible partnership, together we are able to make a lasting Gospel impact around the world.

Connecting Kids to Jesus and His Story
There is a spiritual battle going on for the minds and hearts of our children. A vision for God’s heart must be cast and leaders must be multiplied before our kids’ foundation has crumbled to the culture at large.
We have developed an effective teaching strategy to reach kids in all cultures — domestic and abroad — with the good news of Jesus and His story.
There is a spiritual battle going on for the minds and hearts of our children. A vision for God’s heart must be cast and leaders multiplied before our children’s foundation has crumbled to the culture at large.
We have developed an effective teaching strategy to reach kids in all cultures, domestic & abroad, with the good news of Jesus and His story.
Kids Around the World has developed a methodology called KIDStory so those we partner with can learn to model Jesus’ method of teaching through Biblical storytelling, interactive experiences and meaningful discussions. These environments, which we generically call KIDStory Clubs, are created where kids connect with Jesus and His Story. The strategy and resources are easily reproducible so leaders and KIDStory Clubs are multiplied, reaching into areas where children have no access to a local church.
The methods used to tell and retell God’s story are Bible centered, fun and engaging. The questions posed by leaders are not just for retention, but for transformation of the heart and mind, leading to real life application. This gives leaders the chance to disciple each child by following up on the things that the Holy Spirit is teaching and revealing.
Whether you are in kids or youth ministry, the leader of a small group, preparing for an overseas mission trip, running a local VBS, or simply a mom, dad or grandparent; you will find this approach to learning equally refreshing and valuable as you are equipped with proven tools for effectively sharing God’s Word.
Children are transformed by learning who God is, who they are, and how to have a real and personal relationship with Jesus. We believe this happens through the 5 core essentials of KIDStory:

How it Works
There is a critical need to raise up and equip leaders to disciple children in ways that work best for them. Basic KIDStory workshops are offered globally and throughout the United States. Throughout the training, participants learn to share the Gospel with children through dynamic storytelling – directly from the Bible. At these workshops every participant can expect to learn:
- Teaching skills that bring the stories of the Bible to life
- Fun, interactive ways to hear, learn and retell God’s Word to include: games, music, art & drama
- Proven ways to facilitate discussions that provide a place where the Holy Spirit can penetrate children’s hearts rather than giving pat, predictable answers
- How to create KIDStory Club environments where children become active participants in God’s redemptive story instead of just distant observers

KIDStory relies on Jesus’ method of teaching through telling stories combined with interactive experiences and meaningful discussions. These skills are culturally universal and fun to learn and share with others. This makes KIDStory accessible and easily reproducible (for partners) both locally and globally. We believe transformation takes place in a relational learning environment where God’s Word is spoken, His Spirit guides, and a child encounters the love of Jesus by becoming an active participant in God’s story and not just a distant observer. We call these environments “KIDStory Clubs”. They are places, like what Jesus created, where children feel welcomed, loved, and blessed by the leaders and ultimately the Lord Himself. They are where children have fun and are free to share what they are learning and experiencing — a place where God’s presence is very real and evident. Children are not just learning from a book, but through relationships.
Those participating in KIDStory will find many resources available to enhance the work they are doing with the children they are reaching and discipling. From training videos, workshop manuals, Bible lessons, to very specific topics like trauma and KIDStory@Home, resources are continually being developed for life transformation to happen with children, families and communities.
KIDStory@Home
Generation after generation stands in awe of [God’s] work; each one tells stories of [His] mighty acts. – Psalm 145:4 (MSG)
We recognize parents’ desire to be the spiritual leader in their homes, but realize that they may not know where to start. It can seem best to rely on local church leaders to take on this role, but quite honestly, parents have the greatest influence in their child’s life — greater than any church or ministry. We believe what you will find here in KIDStory@Home will revolutionize the way you engage with your children: physically, emotionally and spiritually.
See what others have to say
Through KATW, we utilized KIDStory to put together a 4-day camp where the kids would hear the key stories of the Bible. Each day included games, music and worship, the Bible story of the day and a number of activities that allowed the kids to retell the story multiple times so that the effect of God’s Word would have an impact on each child. The kids loved the stories and the activities. In fact, we would review each day and the kids were excited to tell the stories.
These kids are getting intimate with the word of God which translates to changed behaviour because they are required to apply the stories in their daily lives. Shalom.
