Kids Around the World partners with Spear Africa Foundation in East Africa leading a KIDStory workshop in Jinja, Uganda.

The East Africa team goal moving forward is StoryClubs,  “We want to see 1000’s of kids being reached.”

From the workshop last week in Jinja, three StoryClubs have been launched. The teachers are so excited they’re sharing with us how powerful this strategy is. Two of the clubs are taking place weekly at the local school and one in the village.

This week one teacher said, “there’s now hope for our children because we saw for the first time kids who rarely participate in Bible activity enjoying the session and interacting. We also witnessed so much creativity and innovation as our teachers came up with new games to make the session fun for our kids…”

The director of the team shared, “ the future of the African church is in the hands of our children. If Africa wants to see a true revival in the church, we start with children. Thankfully with StoryClubs, revival is close. The birth of these clubs is a beginning of steps towards revival.”

Please pray for our team in Kampala. They are running another workshop with participants from 40 different churches. This will mark the launch of several other StoryClubs in the area.
