The Rockford Rescue Mission has been partnering with Kids Around the World to help the men and women residing in the local homeless shelter become employable. Through the career center, men and women are assigned to help refurbish the playgrounds that will be shipped overseas. One man, in particular, has a talent for artwork which was put to use for the benefit of the warehouse. He took on the task of creating a mural to brighten one of the warehouse walls. The young man was thrilled to create this wonderful work of art that will grace the Kids Around the World warehouse.
