The birth of this project began two years when Westerville Ohio Park district donated two playgrounds to Kids Around the World. The Westerville Rotary joined in helping to remove the playgrounds along with funding the building projects. The two playgrounds were destined for Casa Hogar Los Angelitos orphanage in Manzanillo, Mexico until a delay in funding shipped them to other projects. The Westville Rotary graciously let the playgrounds be sent to Jordan and another area of Mexico. Once all the funding was raised, another playground was donated for the project build at the orphanage. The Rotary group traveled to Mexico to help install the playground. The team had a wonderful time interacting with the children and working alongside the local workers.
