This stateside playground was built in the vibrant city of Reno, Nevada. The playground is a blessing for the 500 plus children in the immediate area and in desperate need a safe place to have fun. At the closest school, 30% of the over 430 students are reported homeless and sex-trafficking is a terrible but real problem.  Pastor Angelo of New Life Christian Center has a passion to reach these kids for Christ. Pastor Angelo collaborated community-wide support and participation for these playgrounds to happen. One member of the church happens to own the largest landscape company in Reno went all out providing workers, equipment, and beautiful shrubs along the perimeter of the playgrounds. Neighborhood businesses, residents, church members, a construction crew, and even a homeless man with his cat volunteered their time and shared in the building the playgrounds. Through prayers and the skillful willing hands and pockets of so many, this arid part of Reno now has a safe, refreshing oasis where kids can gather, play, and experience the love of Jesus!
