Two years ago, StoryClubs were started in the wake of a horrific earthquake that took place in Ecuador. Revisiting these StoryClubs the children came by foot, on their bicycles, by motorcycle, by taxi – some with their parents, most came on their own.  There were babies, preschoolers, elementary aged children and even some high schoolers – over 100 children total. The story of the lost lamb was told … and retold again … and again! Children acted it out, some being the sheep, others being the shepherd and one being the lost lamb.  Laughter and joy can be heard throughout the room, something that was hard to find not that long ago. The children are left understanding that once they too were lost but can be found by the Great Shepherd, Jesus. A memorable time was had by all!
