One StoryClub in the Philippines had a 14-year-old boy who was coming each day to the StoryClub.  He acts out and is an incredibly misbehaved boy. That behavior was being displayed the first day of the VBS.  By the third day, leaders and parents alike were amazed at how engaged he was in the Bible story and the other activities. The StoryClub provided an environment where he could learn about the Word of God and let the Holy Spirit work in his life.
