Wisconsin Lutheran College, in Milwaukee Wisconsin, held its annual Serving Hands and Hearts event with a OneMeal packing event.  In partnership with Kids Around the World, they were able to pack 100,000 meals for children in need. Over 150 students gathered at the campus Chapel to hear WLC’s Campus Pastor give a message on how God designed our hands to serve. Then, Chief Resident Representative, Sam Paton threw out a challenge to her fellow students “Whatever group packed the most boxes would receive a prize!”. With the motivation of a challenge in place, the students got to work. Full boxes of packed meals were being stacked at a record pace. When all was said and done the students packed all 100,000 meals in just under 2 hours. The winning table packed 46 boxes all on there own (that’s almost 10,000 meals)! Amazing job from these students!
