For the past few years, both Monroe Bible Church and Juda/Zion United Methodist Church have held OneMeal packing events in the spring with Kids Around the World. In the past, the events were held on separate days at the respective churches location. The funny thing about these two churches is that they are only 15 minutes apart. For this year’s event, the two churches decided to join forces and pack meals together. It was really amazing to see two churches come together for one common goal, to pack meals for children in need. The folks from Monroe Bible and Juda/Zion UMC mixed together at packing stations and got over 30,000 meals packed. It was truly a community effort!
