This playground build in Guatemala was an amazing week of servitude. Liberty University in Virginia helped to sponsor this playground being built at Kelly’s House, a special needs children home. Liberty University brought a group of 90 people to help in the medical field. The local partner that contributed to this build was Hope of Life. They are currently rescuing an astonishing number of 4000 babies a year that would have otherwise passed away.
The team leader on this build is an amazing volunteer named Mark. Between himself, three missionaries, and local labor they diligently built this playground that will bless children with special needs.
The playground took longer than expected and the team was approaching their needed departure time. The local partner told our installer that if he stayed a little bit longer to help the locals finish the playground he would MAKE SURE our installer made it to the airport in time. With Marks flight departure creeping closer and closer…our installer’s ride to the airport finally arrived…and YES…he definitely made his flight home! He was traveling in style
