Those who attended the KIDStory workshop showed up not sure of what it was all about. They left with a transitioned perspective… praising God for everything that had transpired through the Holy Spirit over the last few days.

People from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Congo and then Lebanon were all represented in Nairobi at the workshop. All with different stories and hopes but with a combined calling to reach children with the word of God.

Emmy is pictured here with her small group from the StoryClub on Saturday. (Emmy’s vision a few months ago was to create three StoryClubs. Her mission was to start a movement of reaching children with the word.) She shared with the KIDStory team that she has been struggling with being involved in children’s ministry – but the Lord would not let her go.  After spending a week in a KIDStory workshop she has realized why the Lord keeps her there. She is excited to go back to Uganda to be with the children and share God’s Word in ways that will be fun and heart grabbing.

Another woman shared how she has previously gone through a KIDStory workshop but was not allowed to use it in her church. She was excited to return for another workshop because God provided a vision to share with her new community (She moved from her previous city) about God’s Word. She has a hope to share with the children and families that will be impacted and ignite future leaders for the city.

The participants were inspired and empowered to further the work that God has called them to in creating environments where more children encounter the love of Jesus!

Please keep these disciples in your prayers
