Encouraging Pastor Moses’ leaders was a high priority for KIDStory Director, Gary Strudler. The goal was to hand- off all skills and experience of KIDStory for the those leading hundreds of children in the Northern Uganda refugee camp. As the leaders were occupied being re-trained the children were not able to enjoy their usual StoryClub, however curiosity got the best of them. The children were attracted to the Bible story the workshop the leaders were learning. Instead of turning the children away like Eutychus in the New Testament, they wanted whatever else “Paul” had to offer even if it meant sitting on the edge or listening through the windows. They wanted God’s Story.

There’s an army making the trek back to their home turf.  Children and leaders have been armed with the Word of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to bring the life and love of Jesus Christ to their family and friends.
