First United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake has been partnering with Kids Around the World and our OneMeal program for over six years, providing nutritious meals for children in need all over the world. This year they packed meals for Naomi’s Village, a children’s home in Maai Mahiu, Kenya. Naomi’s Village has rescued over 81 children, including abandoned babies and those left parentless by terrorist attacks, AIDS, disasters, and domestic violence. These meals will help support the children’s home and bring some nutritious meals to these amazing kids.

You can make a qualified charitable distribution by using the "Make a Gift From My IRA" tool through your IRA custodian or consult with your employer’s human resources department to get the simple form to designate Kids Around The World (EIN #36-4007250) as a beneficiary of your retirement account.
