What started as a simple investigation by a pastor from Burundi, opened doors for God to capture his heart with a new mission to reach children and invest his resources in hosting a KIDStory workshop.
Through his own funds, he traveled to Nairobi to meet the KIDStory leader of East Africa in order to learn more about KIDStory. By the end of the meeting, he was convinced that it is time to reach children for Jesus.
The event was led by Dorcas from the KIDStory Kenyan team. She is motivated to reach children with the word of God. There was a real impact on the participants. Since the workshop, there has been a launch of StoryClubs. There have been eight  StoryClubs created all averaging 80 kids. More StoryClubs are in the works! 
The hope and plan laid out is to reach Burundi with this strategy. Training even more leaders who can create StoryClubs for the children who need to hear the gospel.
