As part of their activities for Vacation Bible School, Japanese International Baptist Church in Tigard, Oregon incorporated their first OneMeal event. Once the children heard about the kids in Nicaragua who struggle to have access to food they took action. The children gathered enough funds for the meal packing event and decided to give an extra donation to Kids Around The World with the remaining funds raised.

Part of the group involved younger children so the assembly line was transferred to ground level for the little ones to be involved.  In only 30 minutes, the group of about 30 children packed over 1,750 meals for children in need.
