While this was a volunteer-run OneMeal event, the partner Curtis Drever, expressed his goal was to bring diverse groups of individuals together for a common experience. He held nine events to pack a total of 50,000 meals! To accomplish this feat he invited groups from the Irvine Presbyterian Church: preschool to high school, new believers to life groups, and all the regular attendees from the services. The open community event had folks from the community, the church, and a bonus of four Irvine Police officers join to pack meals! Curtis shared about the events saying, “I did my part and God did His. I invited and God brought folks out.”
