Tight spaces, tons of mud and unlevel ground were no match for the group of boys the team found awaiting when they arrived. They explained they had been looking at the playground parts for the last four weeks wondering what it might look like in the end. When they heard the team was on their way they rallied the troops and decided to see it all happen. The team quickly handed over the tools and started walking them through virtually the entire process, letting them take full ownership of the build. When the time came for cement, the boys pushed the team aside again and took charge of that too! Their pride and confidence became boisterous cheers and laughter as the last loads of cement were poured into the holes. The next day it was a blessing to watch them beam as the local children climbed, swung, played and giggled!
