Cross Catholic Outreach, Friends for Health & Life and Kids Around the World teamed up to launch new beginnings for families who lost everything in the eruption of El Fuego in 2018. Those on the ground are doing everything possible to help these folks get off to a great start. They have even secured full furnishings for the families in their newly constructed, seismically sound, two bedroom homes ensuring safety above and beyond what other home building ministries might typically think to do. The landowner, Eric, has a “community” in mind rather than just a neighborhood, designing a picnic area complete with benches, covered tables, and bbq pits beside their new playground. They continue to make plans to expand this and even duplicate it as more homes are built. Eric’s shared faith with Friends for Health & Life is truly a match made in heaven built on a strong devotion to our Father and his children.
