Following a two dayKIDStory workshop in India, the recently trained KIDStory leaders were told to go and share what they had learned. before they went their separate directions a few participants shared about their experience at the workshop.

Two testimonies shared from the workshop:

Sumathy, Sunday School Teacher

“I teach the 3rd grade.  My challenge was the children were always distracted, hyperactive and they would ask all sorts of questions and would have constant squabbles.  It was always a real difficulty to keep their attention. I found the teaching on Multiple Intelligence very useful and so I first changed my mindset on these children and started looking at them differently.  I saw a total difference in the way they responded today. They were very attentive. I told them that I would ask them questions, and so asked them to listen carefully. I used the question-answer method as I didn’t really have time to prepare props. I was so surprised to see the way they answered and also the depth of their answers. Also all the children answered.  I could not believe that they had so much of thoughts inside of them. I was totally satisfied in teaching today.”

Gracia, Sunday School Teacher

“I teach children from 1st grade to 4th grade.  Every week when I begin to tell the story, the kids always told me that they had already heard the story and so were not interested.  After this training, I used a drama to teach the story of Peter. The children enjoyed it so much they wanted more and more. I also asked questions and the children responded very well to it.”
