The government had just built a state of the art daycare center for 120 children from the ages of  1-12 whose parents work at the poverty level in the fields during the day. Who did they approach for taking care of the children but our partner FFHM (Foundation For His Ministry)! Celebrating 52 years of serving orphans and vulnerable children 175 miles down the Baja Peninsula, FFHM is one of the only beacons of light in this city and has a wonderful reputation for what they’re doing for vulnerable children. Collaborating with DIF (Government Department of Social Services) who provides money for the kid’s food and care, they provide Christian staff who have free reign in sharing Christ daily with each of these children! While we worked, the children were being discipled through being taught God’s Word, how to pray, and all while being lovingly cared for.
