This is the story from a volunteer who joined us from meal packing to distribution.

For every excuse in your life, there are at least a half dozen solutions for those willing to take the time to seek them out. The solutions were all presented to me that night. I could continue to support this ministry with my prayers, through donations, AND by actually traveling to one of the sites receiving OneMeal and building a playground. The What and How had been answered for me. KATW had the destination and would take care of all the arrangements. I just needed to raise support to fund my trip. The Why was etched in my heart and I could not wait to share it with others who I knew would lend their support.

We visited feeding centers where some children walked for miles a day to receive their one nutritious meal a day. All the people we encountered were incredibly grateful for the feeding centers serving OneMeal. The hugs and the smiles on those precious little faces will forever be a part of me. My team also built a playground at an orphanage with salvaged parts, refurbished by KATW in the United States and shipped over in one of their food containers. I don’t think I have ever worked or sweated so hard in my life but the work was invigorating.
