During the evening outreach at a feeding center in Fuentes, about 75 kids showed up to see what was happening. The team provided ice cream for each of them and then invited the children to sit and listen to a KIDStory lesson. Through all of the chaos and commotion of listening to the story and going through some discovery and response questions, the kids were asked the same question Jesus asked Peter… “Who do you say [I am] Jesus is?.” After hearing about Jesus’ miracles and love, and talking about their many replies to the questions, 10 of the kids raised hands wanting to repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Pastor Luis led them through understanding their decision and the prayer; he will be following up with them in his community.
