Your business, school, church, civic group, or other organization can sign up to host your own OneMeal packing event at your location!

All across the US, groups recruit their volunteers and work with KATW’s OneMeal team to plan an excellent community-building experience for their people to serve together to provide life-giving meals to the hungry.

Your part as the Host is to select a date, time, location and size of your event, sponsor the meals you will pack at 25-27 cents per meal, and recruit your volunteers to come and serve together.

STEP 2

Start thinking about the scope of your impact: How many meals do you want to pack for children and how many volunteers do you want to engage in this fun event? Just about anyone can serve; OneMeal events are perfect for volunteers from 4-99 yrs! On average, one person can package about 365 meals in two hours (essentially, one person x 2 hours = 1 child fed for an entire year!). Our team will work with you to design the perfect event for your group. Minimum event size starts at 20,000 meals, and is dependent on geographic location.

Plan your fundraising to reach your goal. We can give you plenty of ideas!

STEP 4

Recruit Volunteers. Invite your people and get them excited about coming to serve in an amazing mission experience! We can help you promote your event.

STEP 5

We’ll come to you! Your OneMeal Event Manager will help you every step of the way through the planning process, and then arrive at your site with all the things you need to prepare for your event.

STEP 6

Get excited and package meals! We’ll bring stylish hairnets, music to get the beat going (or you can provide your own), and hearts ready to serve and share about the impact your team is having by packing meals together.
