“As Christ followers we are commanded to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…”. The Lord has given my wife and me a particular burden for children and families. The mission and ministry of KATW aligns beautifully with the Great Commission and the heart God has given us. Over the years, serving and supporting KATW has afforded us the opportunity to be a small part of sharing the transforming love of Christ not only with children and communities around the world but also in our own home. Whether it has been packing meals, participating in short-term missions, refurbishing playgrounds, or working in the warehouse, the Lord always does so much more in you and your family than through you. 

In particular, the short-term mission trips have had a powerful impact on our family. Stepping outside our comfort zone opened our eyes and hearts to real need, not just a physical need, but even more so the need for Jesus. Your kids experience God moving as they build relationships with children and communities often only using non-verbal communication. You witness as your children are transformed, and their faith becomes tangible. I know in my own life, the Lord has used my KATW experience to break my heart for the things that break His and to do an amazing work in me.”
