In 1994 we built our first two playgrounds in one of Rockford’s sister cities Brovary, Ukraine. The playgrounds were a gift to the city’s children and community to provide a place where families could safely gather and play.

Today the country of Ukraine is experiencing a devasting situation. Ukrainian people face the heartbreaking decision to leave their homes, families, and friends to find safety or stay and defend their country and hope the fighting will end soon.

Our hearts break watching these events take place. As chaos unfolds, our brothers and sisters in Ukraine desperately need our prayer. We believe in the God of the impossible, and we wholeheartedly trust when the body of Christ joins together there is power in our prayers. Please join us in praying for protection for those who remain in Ukraine, safety for those fleeing, and the unknowns of the country’s future.

We pray because we know our God is bigger, and we are anchored in His power and possibility.
